Care for People with Disabilities
The department for care of people with disabilities (OoF) belongs to the social administration.
We have an important and rewarding mission to provide support and assistance to people with various disabilities in their daily lives. The department is an executing organization in constant change. Our core values are participation, trust, and care.
The department has about 370 employees distributed across several units. The services include special accommodation, short-term stays, housing support, employment, escorting, and daily activities. The HSL part consists of three nurses.

We are now looking for a nurse
We are now looking for a nurse for a six-month temporary position in our team. We have a non-prestigious climate where we support each other and collaborate. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with a focus on participation, working environment, change, and development towards our common goals with the client at the center.
We in the LSS operations believe that we have one of the most rewarding jobs within Region Gotland.
Your tasks
As a nurse, you will have an important role in the team, where you work closely with other professionals with the individual at the center. Through your medical knowledge, we see that you find solutions that create safety and added value in our operations. The work is independent and involves both acute and planned interventions. You consult with doctors at health centers and delegate certain medical tasks to nursing staff. You have a consultative role towards the nursing staff and support them in patient work.
The working hours are daytime Monday to Friday.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in the field. A B driver's license is a requirement.
We consider it an advantage if you have supervisor training or other advanced training. It is also advantageous if you are familiar with systems such as Treserva and Take Care.
You are a secure and stable person who has a professional approach and is adaptable to different situations. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. You are self-driven and can take your own initiatives and make important decisions, but you also understand the value of collaboration, as teamwork is an important part of our working method.
You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and have good computer skills.
Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.

About the social administration
As part of Region Gotland, we work in the social administration with social interventions such as counseling, support, and treatment. Our areas of operation are social services, home healthcare, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities throughout Gotland. Around the clock, we meet people of all ages and with various needs; children, families, adults, and the elderly. Together, we enable good conditions for care, support, and service throughout life.
